  1. How very very beautiful. I was really happy with your pictures of the Admiral's row, but now I see I missed this graveyard when I visited New York. Thank God I saw the Navy houses!

  5. Witter Marine today is a shell of what it was in the 70s when you could walk from the office to way out in the river just crossing ferryboats, tugs, barges, Navy vessels ect. There was so much of New Yorks nautical history there,. Today very little exists and it would be a very dangerous place to trespass, enjoy the photos and stay safe.

  10. I grew up in the house surrounded by the marine junkyard. My siblings and I have countless memories of playing on the barges, ferry, freighter and buses. What a playground our father provided for us. Thanks for the memories!!

  14. oi oi. i love this place. beautiful shots. i used to squat on the red ship (the one thats on the far far right if youre staring out at the shipwreck graveyard from the shore. i used to squat in that house thats there. this spot is by far my favorite place on earth. the most haunting and amazing site ive ever seen. but beware if you go out there. that shit aint disneyland. it almost killed me countless times. super hazardous but well worth it. git a kayak to explore the best wrecks. the ones close to shore are mostly rotting wood. be goddam careful where you step. without warning, you might fall through. cheers. <3 natalia cleotatra kobrapuke
